His musical inspiration for the painting includes Tab Benoit, a Louisiana musician and founder of Voice Of The Wetlands. Louisiana Love Song was created for America’s WETLAND Foundation, a leader in public education about Louisiana’s wetland loss. The original canvas was donated to the Foundation and was recently purchased by an anonymous donor via an online auction.
